Hello!
I am Hira Akmal, a freelance make-up artist and photographer!

I initially started out in the makeup industry to understand how makeup shows up in studio and outdoor lighting for photography. Working with different makeup artists I wasn't able to guide them what imperfections I could see through the lens and spent countless hours editing.
In 2018, I became a certified make-up artist through The Make-up Academy by Nina Mua in New York City. Once certified, I felt confident that I had thorough knowledge of different makeup techniques and that I, now, have the ability to it professionally.

I feel lucky to have made it into a blossoming career. As a professional based in Syosset, New York, I’ve been helping clients, on long island, look and feel their best.
What sets me apart is the full commitment to high quality services, sanitation, and professionalism. Not to forget that you'll look awesome in photographs!
